Saarburg

Saarburg is a town in the Trier-Saarburg rural district in Rhineland-Palatinate. It stands where the smaller Leukbach flows into the River Saar in the western part of the Saar-Hunsrück nature reserve. Saarburg is the administrative seat of Saarburg joint municipality. According to the regional planning authorities, it is an officially recognised resort and regional centre.
