The "Wanderbares Deutschland" seal of quality awarded by the German Ramblers’Association is an outward sign of the special welcome we give to walkers.
It is also proof of the fact that we have provided for hikers’ specific requests and requirements. Our location is ideal for walkers, as no fewer than three classic long-distance trails either begin in, or pass through, Trier: the route that follows the River Saar and passes through the Hunsrück Hills ("Saar-Hunsrück-Steig"), the Eifel Route ("Eifelsteig") and one along the River Moselle ("Moselsteig"). The highly acclaimed "Moselsteig" even goes straight past our front door. Our twin-bedded rooms are particularly suitable for hikers.
